He received his general surgical training at the University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, and subsequently focused on basic research for three years as Director of the Research Institute and Center for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>He has published his research results together with world-renowned researchers in the field of nerve regeneration, stem cell technology,
